Although Japan already received the enhanced rerelease of the classic Master System game Phantasy Star for Switch on October 31, those of us in the West will receive the game on December 13. Originally planned for November 15 in the West, the game received a slight delay.
SEGA of America PR representative Jacob Nahin confirmed in a tweet that the localized version will arrive on that date. The game's price will probably be around US$7.99, like the other releases.
The most interesting thing about the Western version is that, according to an interview with the people responsible for the Switch port, Atlus USA made a complete new translation of the game. Although the Japanese version already includes the option to play with the original English translation, it seems that we will have a new translation, and it will be interesting to see how it compares with the original.
