Pokémon 2019 Press Conference
Have plans for tomorrow? Now you do, Trainers! We have major news to share, and you know what that means: #PokemonPressConference!
The Pokémon 2019 Press Conference is an event aimed more at the press, but it is worth remembering that Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu, Pokémon Let's Go! Eevee, and Pokémon Quest were announced at the same event in 2018. The tweet says that live updates will be posted, so The Pokémon Company also intends to share the news with fans.
This will probably be done to prevent third parties from leaking the conference's content before the official sources do.
The conference will take place on May 28 at 10 p.m. Brasília time.

Pokémon Direct
We know you are excited for more details about #PokemonSwordShield. We have been hard at work researching this new region. Wondering when you can learn more?
The Pokémon-focused Nintendo Direct will take place one week after the Press Conference, suggesting that other news will be announced there, although there is no way to be certain. Because it is aimed directly at the public, the "show" will probably be bigger.
The livestream date surprised many people because it is so close to E3 2019, where Nintendo will give its presentation on the 11th. The Nintendo Direct focused on Mario Maker also took place recently, causing the same surprise.
Both events were probably held before E3 to "make room" for Nintendo to share news about other games such as Astral Chain, the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, the new Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and new titles.
Unlike the Pokémon 2019 Press Conference, the Direct will take place at 10 in the morning, on June 5.
