SEGA recently announced the SEGA AGES collection, a collection with more than 15 games for Nintendo Switch. Now we have more details about the collection. Among the news, it was announced that Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Gain Ground will be available alongside the previously announced Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star and Thunder Force IV.
In addition, each game will have extra features. In Sonic the Hedgehog, it will be possible to use the spin dash, as in the 3DS version, in addition to the rare Mega-Play arcade version. Thunder Force IV will have Styx Mode (the Thunder Force III ship from the Sega Saturn version of the game) and online leaderboards. Phantasy Star will have all the features from the SEGA AGES 2500 collection version for PlayStation 2, including options such as adjusting the characters' walking speed, new difficulty levels, the option to switch between PSG and FM sound chips, among others. Alex Kidd in Miracle World will probably be like the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 version, which contains features such as choosing between versions of the game. Gain Ground will receive a port of its arcade version on Switch, also with extra features.
The games in the SEGA AGES collection will begin arriving this winter in Brazil for Switch. Visit the official website here.
