SEGA revealed 10 more of the 40 games that will be built into the new Mega Drive Mini today.
The new titles confirmed for the Western version of the console are:
- Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
- Contra: Hard Corps
- Earthworm Jim
- Landstalker
- Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Streets of Rage 2
- Super Fantasy Zone
- Thunder Force III
- World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
The Japanese version will receive the following games:
- Contra: Hard Corps
- Dyna Brothers 2 Special
- Game no Kanzume Otokuyou
- Landstalker
- M.U.S.H.A.
- Streets of Rage 2
- Super Fantasy Zone
- The Hybrid Front
- Thunder Force III
- World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
The first 10 titles announced for the Western version were:
- Altered Beast
- Castlevania: Bloodlines
- Comix Zone
- Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
- Ecco the Dolphin
- Gunstar Heroes
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Shining Force
- Space Harrier II
- ToeJam & Earl
And for the Japanese version:
- Castlevania: Bloodlines
- Comix Zone
- Gunstar Heroes
- Madou Monogatari I
- Rent A Hero
- Shining Force
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Space Harrier II
- Puyo Puyo Tsu
- Wrestleball
As you can see, the list of games announced so far is quite varied and includes several titles from other developers, as well as games SEGA produced under licenses from other companies such as Disney, which should please fans. Now we are eager to find out which games will be announced next. Will SEGA finally rerelease Sonic 3 & Knuckles among the next games?
