After a long wait, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! will finally arrive on March 1, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC with Brazilian Portuguese support. As we announced earlier, a limited physical edition of the PS4 and Switch versions published by Limited Run Games was also planned, and it will be available today.
The game will come in two versions. The first is the standard physical edition, costing US$29.99 on PS4 and US$34.99 on Switch. Unlike other Limited Run Games releases, you do not need to rush to secure a copy, since there will be a 45-day pre-order period to manufacture physical copies according to demand; in other words, you have until March 30 to reserve your copy.
The second is a collector's edition, released at two times in very limited quantities and not available for reservation; it goes to whoever buys first before it sells out. The collector's edition costs US$64.99 on PS4 and US$69.99 on Switch, and includes a special box, a puzzle map (with 25 possible maps), six enamel pins (ToeJam, Earl, Latisha, Lewanda, and two random Earthlings), 10 pin stands for building your own level, scenery pieces for decoration, a cassette soundtrack plus download code, and a poster. If you want to secure your copy, hurry! The first sale goes live today, February 15, at 1 p.m. Brasília time, and the second at 9 p.m.
