Disney recently confirmed that it will produce two series, one about Marvel character Loki, starring Tom Hiddleston, the same actor who plays the villain in the movies, and the other a live-action series from the Star Wars franchise. Their release dates, episode counts and official titles have yet to be confirmed. We do know, however, that both will be made available on Disney's exclusive streaming service, called Disney+.

As for the Loki series, we still do not know where it will fit into the story, considering the events of Avengers: Infinity War. As for the Star Wars series, however, we know that it will take place before the events of the movie Rogue One and will aim to show more details about the life of Cassian Andor, who will be played by the same actor, Diego Luna.

In a recent interview, Diego Luna said: "Returning to Star Wars is very special to me (...). I have great memories of the work we did and the relationships I made. We now have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, in a new and exciting format that will give us the chance to get to know this character in greater depth."

It is important to note that Star Wars Rogue One, released in 2016, takes place between the events of episodes III and IV of the main franchise, and that a rumor recently circulated about the production of a Scarlet Witch series. Perhaps this one will also become a reality.

Below is the trailer for the movie released in 2016.
