With San Diego Comic-Con 2019 in full swing, several pieces of news about the geek world are being revealed, but one announcement almost no one expected was that Sonic and Tails will be part of a crossover episode of OK, KO! Let's Be Heroes. The episode will be called "Let's Meet Sonic." Here is the released preview:
Rumors about this episode had existed for some time, with many people believing they were false. Acknowledging this, creator Ian Jones-Quartey joked on Twitter, saying "OK KO SONIC REAL."

Cartoon producer Toby Jones also confirmed that Sonic and Tails would be voiced by their game voice actors, Roger Craig Smith and Colleen O’Shaughnessey.
Sonic's Twitter account also commented on what happened, calling it a surprise gift for fans.
OK, K.O.! follows the adventures of K.O., a young boy who aspires to be a hero and who, together with his friends Enid and Radicles, works at Gar's Bodega and protects their home, Lakewood Plaza. The series had just begun its third season.
"Let's Meet Sonic" will air on Cartoon Network on Sunday, August 4, at 5:45 p.m. Brasília Time (BRT).
