Although we knew that the Sonic Boom animated series would receive a second season, we still did not know where it would air. But now the question has been answered.
Lagardere Studios Distribution "signed presales in more than 90 countries worldwide, including France, Italy, Portugal, Canada, Poland, and Ukraine." Lagardere Studios Distribution handles distribution of the animated series outside the United States and Asia. Unfortunately, it did not specifically mention Brazil (a complete list of countries was not released), but it is quite likely that the second season will arrive in Brazil, since the first season did.
The studio has already supplied the first season to "approximately 170 countries," with Nickelodeon having recently received it for "all German-speaking countries." The studio is one of Europe's largest distributors of TV programs.
And there is more: the website reports that the first season has had "strong international viewership" since the animated series premiered two years ago. In fact, Sonic Boom was even chosen for the annual Export Awards in France, which recognize the best French television programs around the world. Although it did not win, it remains an indication of how well the animated series is doing around the world.
