SEGA announced that SEGA AGES Space Harrier and SEGA AGES Puyo Puyo (originally planned for February) will be released for Switch through the Nintendo eShop in the West on August 22 for US$7.99 each.
As is common with games in the SEGA AGES series, both will arrive with new features. Space Harrier will include additions from the version previously released for 3DS, including widescreen support without stretching the display and Haya-Oh as the final boss, as well as a Komainu Barrier Attack mode in which Komainu protects Harrier from every obstacle except enemy fire. The game will also include several display and button-mapping modes.
Puyo Puyo, meanwhile, will include 180-degree screen rotation for two people to play in handheld mode, along with the rare English version of the arcade game and a new online mode. This will be the first time the original first Puyo Puyo is released unchanged in the West, since the Mega Drive version was transformed into Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, just as it became Kirby's Avalanche on Super Nintendo.

Space Harrier

In this third-person rail shooter with pseudo-3D graphics, you, as the young warrior Space Harrier, must save the peaceful Land of Dragons from violent creatures. With the help of dragons and your superhuman abilities, it is up to you to make your way across a variety of treacherous terrain, defeat these beasts, and save the day!
Puyo Puyo

Based on the original arcade release, you will need razor-sharp reflexes in this simple but highly engaging puzzle game. Your goal is to create combos of four or more "Puyos" of the same color while preventing these colorful blobs from reaching the top of your playing field. It is a battle of skill and endurance in a game packed with charming characters!
