Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be released in December in Japan, and SEGA is starting to get its "hype train" moving there. The company promised a Yakuza Kiwami 2 demo in late November. From December 2 to 17, SEGA will air TV commercials for the game, in addition to holding autograph events in November. A pre-release broadcast will also take place the day before the game's launch.
As for the demo's contents, that is still a mystery, but we hope to get a look at the Goro Majima content that will be exclusive to this remake. We may also find out how the game runs on Yakuza 6's Dragon Engine, since this will be the studio's second game to use the new engine. The first Yakuza Kiwami used the same engine as Yakuza 0. If you want to know how to create a Japanese PSN account to download the demo, you can check out this quick tutorial (in English).
Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be released for PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 7 in standard and limited editions.
