Following the success of Dragon Ball Super: Broly in theaters, which became one of the most profitable anime films in history, the series' next steps are being revealed.
Dragon Ball GT Returns in Manga Form
Dragon Ball GT is a divisive series among fans, with some loving it and others disliking it. However, memorable moments from the anime, such as Super Saiyan 4, will certainly remain in the memories of many fans. To celebrate the series, Saikyo Jump announced that Goku's adventures in GT will return in manga form as an adaptation of the anime.

The series will return to publication in Japan.
The manga's continuation will begin in the next issue of the magazine. Dragon Ball GT is non-canonical to the events of Akira Toriyama's original manga.
New Dragon Ball Super Film in Production
The Blu-ray of DB Super: Broly was recently released in Japan, and fans discovered a booklet inside the disc case. The booklet contained an interview with Akio Iyoku, head of Shueisha's “Dragon Ball Room.” In the interview, Iyoku comments on the film's success and confirms that preparations are underway for a new film starring Goku and his friends.

Iyoku said the following about the franchise's next film:
Now, for our next steps, we are already preparing for the next film. Broly was so strong that I think the next film will be completely different. I learned to overcome many obstacles during Broly's production, so I will not exhaust myself. I think Dragon Ball will continue for a long time, so I ask fans to look forward to the new film.
So far, Toei has released no official news confirming the anime's return, despite countless rumors. Confirmation of a new film is the best clue we have so far about what the future holds for the series.
